Once the prelude music begins, talk to God

During the service, let God talk to you.

After the service, talk to each other.

Children's Sermon

Congregational Prayer of Confession (In Unison)

It is so easy for us, Lord, to diminish the gifts You have given us. We have come to believe that either we are experts in some areas or we know nothing. Each of us has been given special talents and gifts that can be used to help others, but for some reason we have chosen not to use these gifts. We have decided that they are unimportant or not needed. Forgive us when we make decisions not to act. Help us look at the blessings that You have poured into our lives and to discover the special talents that we have. Open the doorways of service and let the gates swing wide on the “grease of grace,” that we may go forth to serve You in this world. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Assurance of Pardon

*Gloria Patri

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be. World without end. Amen. Amen.

Sermon “Whatever You Do”

*The Apostles Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified dead, and buried. He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

*Hymn # 591 G Have Thine Own Way, Lord

Charge and Benediction

Postlude My Redeemer is Faithful and True – Chapman and Elliott

*All who are able may stand.

*Benediction Response

Go now in peace; never be afraid,

God will go with you each hour of every day.

Go now in faith, steadfast, strong and true.

Know He will guide you in all you do.

Go now in love, and show you believe.

Reach out to others so all the world can see.

God will be there watching from above.

Go now in peace, in faith, and in love.
